You will manage a significant global direct spend within Resin, Chemical, and Contract Manufacturing categories. You will develop and implement a strategic sourcing strategy to ensure global supply continuity while optimizing costs. Day-to-day, you will interface with Sealed Air leadership, suppliers, plants, and internal stakeholders to ensure purchasing strategies are fully executed, run reports in ERP and other business-critical software, and collaborate across functions including R&D, quality, finance, accounts payable, and supply chain management.

You will also engage with external vendors, technical reps, sales reps, and sales managers to drive procurement objectives.

• Lead cross-functional cost reduction, alternative material qualifications, and sustainability projects.
• Identify opportunities and negotiate cost-saving initiatives with suppliers.
• Support quality and service resolutions as needed.
• Bring innovative solutions to improve supply continuity, reduce costs, and optimize processes.
• Collaborate effectively in a matrix-managed, global organization.
