Business Analyst

Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid). You will manage project-level resource allocations, leveraging financial forecasting tools to track and report on outcomes.

• Leverage allocation reporting tools to track and manage project-level resource allocations across DMTEA organizations.
• Manage tech exec base and initiative allocations to ensure tech exec spending & recovery are accurate.
• Partner with project managers and resource managers within the tech exec space to capture resource allocations and forecasts; report on outcomes of financial forecasting activity.
• Prepare allocation reports to monitor project forecasting and support the yearly planning process for projects/initiatives.
• Aggregate and analyze project estimates and required funding across the organization to derive a comprehensive team view.
• Identify funding or allocation gaps/discrepancies and assist in resolution; present findings to stakeholders as needed.

• Advanced Excel
• Financial analysis or forecasting experience
• Analytical skills

Strong financial experience. Experience with forecasting and financial analysis to ensure proper portfolio financials are maintained to support efforts within funding limits. Advanced Excel skills (to include pivot tables, sumifs & lookups), general financial acumen, analytical skills, and detail-oriented. Ability to manage, structure, and consolidate multiple sources of data into intelligent reports and stories, and take appropriate actions to remedy outlier situations;

can operate assertively and independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong relationship, verbal and written communication, team building, and influencing skills. Highly organized and motivated self-starter and quick learner. Ability to manage multiple financial priorities simultaneously. Analytical experience – the ability to make sense of data from multiple sources and put it into views for Executive consumption. Ability to problem solve and provide creative solutions.

• Prior Bank experience
• Prior experience with forecasting/allocation tools (TPAS, PMMT, GEP Smart, SAFE, ledger)
• Strong relationship, verbal and written communication, team building, and influencing skills.

Required educational background or certification: College degree

Leverage allocation reporting tools to track and manage project-level resource allocations across DMTEA organizations. Partner with project managers and resource managers within the tech exec space to capture resource allocations and forecasts; report on outcomes of financial forecasting activity.

Partner with program managers within DMT to govern program forecasts; report on and mitigate monthly variance between forecasts and actuals, keeping variances to a minimum. Create allocation reports to track and manage project-level resource allocations to monitor project forecasting. Support the yearly planning process for projects/initiatives. Aggregate and analyze project estimates (and required funding) across the organization to derive a comprehensive team view.

Research funding or allocation gaps/discrepancies and assist in resolution. Requires a business-centric mindset with the ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approaches to drive optimal business outcomes. Must be able to work with all levels of management including the ability to present/discuss with executive leadership, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. The ideal teammate is a quick learner, organized, independently motivated, and intellectually curious.

Develop business partner relationships across all levels of the firm including Program Managers, technology executives, etc.
