Document Management Specialist, Projects

Position status:
Full-time, staff. This role is projected to last 18-22 months, working a 5/10s schedule with straight overtime when applicable. This role will be ON-SITE in Stanton, TN.

Position will provide coordination and provide technical guidance and oversight to support M&C's licensing activities across projects and programs. Position will ensure programs/department are documented and administered within guidelines established by the Director of Engineering to ensure effective delivery of programs within M&C. Position will also include general administrative duties necessary to support and operate the M&C Licensing programs.

Responsibilities
  • Examine, evaluate, and investigate eligibility for or conformity with state laws and regulations governing contract compliance with regards to licenses and permits; coordinate with corporate officers/qualifiers for new licenses and mandated license examinations; prepare and submit proper documentation per state laws & regulations for new licenses per contract requirements
  • Accurate & timely updating of license portfolio administration including processing license and bond fee payments
  • Manage bonds and certificates of insurance; request new bonds and/or certificates per license requirements; coordinate with corporate Officers and VP Labor Relations for local bonds and renewals; code and submit bond renewals for payment
  • Maintain an accurate log of all qualifiers to support HR with accurate and timely compensation for licensee holders
  • Communicate with internal support teams, such as BD and Proposals assess ability to perform scope, support RFI/RFP inquiries and provide potential licenses needed in potential new pursuant states
  • Maintain qualifiers updated information with agencies, monitor education and training timelines and backup qualifiers
Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent teamwork, critical thinking, analytical, judgment and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough understanding of construction industry and engineering licensing terms and policies
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with both internal and external customers
  • Knowledge working with state, county and local agencies
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building skills - able to work independently as well as with a variety of people and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
And If You Have These Qualifications
  • Two year degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience with licensing within construction and engineering
  • Knowledge of Pro Core - Preferred
  • Great attitude and team player
  • Successful completion of drug and background screening process

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the hourly range for this role is $37-$38, DOE. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
