Administrative Assistant and Project Coordinator

The head of the Broker Dealer department is seeking a highly motivated, detail‑oriented and efficient individual to provide a full‑range of administrative and project support to the team. This role is a unique opportunity to gain experience and exposure across all areas of the Broker Dealer business. We need an enthusiastic go‑getter who wants to learn, excel and grow in the role.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and document weekly management meetings; follow up on action items.
  • Manage office support tasks such as invoice processing and supply maintenance.
  • Assist new hires with onboarding and system setup.
  • Handle travel and scheduling for Broker Dealer directors.
  • Work with the team to organize conferences and field visits, prepare presentations, and manage logistics.
  • Support ad‑hoc projects across marketing, communications, operations, and product functions.

Base salary range: $47,000 - $68,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short‑term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of financial services experience
  • A desire to obtain Series 7 and 63/6
  • Proficiency in generating and maintaining accurate and timely reports that inform decision making and track organizational performance.
Skills
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail – Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Effective Communications – Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs.
  • Interpersonal Relationships – Knowledge of techniques and ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities – Knowledge of effective self‑management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Office Administration – Knowledge of office administration activities; ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of local and remote teams.
  • Problem Solving – Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
