We are working with dynamic, growing manufacturer in Charlotte, NC, to add a strong Bookkeeper to their corporate A&F team. This position reports directly to the CFO and will support the company’s continued growth and expansion.

The Corporate Bookkeeper will hold responsibility for maintaining the general ledger, overseeing accounts receivable, and executing fixed assets accounting. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting and communication skills, a high level of integrity, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

• Maintain the general ledger, including processing monthly journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
• Code invoices, reconcile accounts, and assist with monthly close activities.
• Calculate monthly accruals and monitor/report any unexpected variances.
• Reconcile cash disbursements, payroll, and customer accounts; verify bank deposits and complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Support the CFO and Director in preparing monthly and ad hoc financial reports.
• Process customer payments, prepare deposits, verify transactions, and maintain A/R files and records.
• Review A/R activity daily, reconcile customer accounts, and generate aging reports (no collections required).
• Research and resolve customer discrepancies, payment issues, and prepare monthly intercompany billing statements.
• Provide support to Accounts Payable and serve as backup as needed.
