Accounting Manager

Parcc Associates is representing a growing, innovative client in search of a results-driven Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations and financial reporting with precision and strategic insight. You will own the integrity of financial information, strengthen internal controls, and drive audit and IPO readiness initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely financial statements, board reports, and external disclosures.
• Partner with executives to develop financial plans, forecasts, and decision-support models.
• Provide actionable insights to optimize business performance and growth.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.

Accounting Operations & Team Leadership

• Manage accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and compliance functions.
• Supervise and mentor a 5-person accounting team, fostering development and high performance.
• Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded, compliant, and properly documented.
• Oversee ERP system management and documentation best practices.

Technical Accounting & Compliance

• Maintain compliance with GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Prepare complex accounting estimates, including impairments, accruals, provisions, leases, and tax liabilities.
• Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve accounting processes and policies.
• Manage sales tax filings, regulatory reports, and information returns.

Audit & IPO Readiness

• Lead audit and tax processes, from planning to completion.
• Prepare PBC schedules, coordinate sample requests, and respond to auditor inquiries.
• Review adjustments and reconcile draft financial statements, footnotes, and tax filings.
• Support documentation, controls, and reporting frameworks aligned with IPO or public-company readiness standards.

Inventory & Cost Accounting

• Oversee inventory counts, scrap adjustments, and cost allocations.
• Ensure accurate month-end inventory cutoff, valuation, and reconciliation.
• Monitor gross profit analysis, COGS reconciliations, and balance sheet accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years leading teams.
• Expertise in GAAP and IFRS reporting frameworks.
• Proven experience managing audits; IPO or public-company readiness experience is highly preferred.
• SAP ERP experience required; advanced Excel and financial modeling skills essential.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and proactively support business needs.

Education & Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 3–5 years of audit and assurance experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or product-based companies a plus.
