Accounts Payable Supervisor

Carolina PRG has partnered with a large, well-established manufacturing organization that we have successfully worked with in the past. This company is known for its scale, operational complexity, and commitment to process improvement. They are seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead day-to-day AP operations while supporting accuracy, efficiency, and team development within a high-volume environment.

• Supervise and support the accounts payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices
• Oversee invoice review, coding, and matching to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Manage payment cycles, including check runs, ACH, and other electronic payments
• Serve as a point of escalation for invoice discrepancies, vendor inquiries, and internal issues
• Monitor workload distribution and performance to ensure service level expectations are met
• Support month-end close activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations and accruals
• Partner with purchasing, receiving, and finance teams to improve AP processes and controls
• Assist with documentation, compliance, and internal control initiatives

• Prior experience in accounts payable within a manufacturing or high-volume environment
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within an AP function
• Strong understanding of three-way matching and purchase order–based AP processes
• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process improvement
