Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our client in Charlotte, NC on a contract basis. Candidates must live locally in Charlotte, NC and will work mainly remote. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments while supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.
Responsibilities- Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper coding.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and verify approvals.
- Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support the finance team with additional administrative tasks as needed.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in accounts payable
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (training provided).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
