Staff Accountant

Overview

Location: In-office - Atlanta Decorative Arts Center (Downtown Atlanta, approx. 6-8 miles south of Buckhead)

Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 DOE

• Perform general accounting functions including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Support financial reporting and documentation
• Maintain accurate, organized financial records and documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting and operational needs
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or related field)
• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience (or 1 year for exceptional recent graduates)
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, and data analysis
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a small-company environment
• Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude

• Experience with SAP (strong plus)
• Experience in a multi-functional accounting role
