Position: Accounts Payable Specialist I

ADI Global is searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our AP Team. The AP Specialist will be responsible for validating vendor invoices and ensuring payments are made accurately within our contracted terms. The AP Specialist will be expected to work a hybrid model with two days a week from home. This role requires a detail-orientated motivated team player, excellent accounting, time management skills, and articulate communication skills with in-office as well as remote team members.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will report to the AP Manager.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Utilize knowledge of chart of accounts.

  • Validate, enter, and process vendor invoices for payment.

  • Communicate effectively with vendors.

  • Work with internal teams to ensure accurate purchase orders and inventory.

  • Reconcile assigned accounts monthly; research and resolve discrepancies.

  • Maintain accounts payable aging, keep current.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 1+ years relevant experience in accounting or accounts payable.

  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel.

  • 1+ years experience using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams.

WE VALUE:

  • Keen attention to detail and deeply organized.

  • Ability to compose clear email communications.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.

  • Education and training in the accounting field.

  • Experience in distribution industry.
