Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Charlotte, NC. The Accountant will be responsible for performing daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling accounts. The role involves monitoring budgets, processing payroll, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting with audits. The Accountant will also support financial decision-making by analyzing data and providing meaningful insights to the leadership team.
Qualifications- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial recordkeeping, and preparing financial statements
- Strong skills in budget management, cash flow analysis, and financial forecasting
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Expertise in using accounting software and tools such as Quick Books, Microsoft Excel, and similar programs
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of applicable financial and tax regulations is beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA certification is a plus
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related financial role
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team
