NOW HIRING for an A/R Specialist in the York County/South Charlotte area. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts receivable process, from invoicing and payment tracking to resolving billing discrepancies. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and dedication to accuracy will be key in maintaining strong relationships with our clients and ensuring that we receive timely payments.

Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

Pay is up to $22.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and send out accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts and past-due invoices to secure payments.
  • New customer set up and communication, setting up credit
  • Releasing shipped orders for invoicing
  • Cash deposits (ACH, Checks, and Credit cards)
  • Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues with clients, including disputes and chargebacks.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts receivable transactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address client inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
  • Assist in other areas of the office as needed
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial systems, and processes.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
