Location:

4828 Parkway Plaza Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28217

• Pay Rate: $22.83 – $38.04/hour

• Shift: 1st Shift — 9:00 AM start time or earlier

• Employment Type:
  
  6-month contract (Likely to convert based on performance)

• Work Setup:
  Onsite, office environment

• Prepare transaction tax returns for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings.

• Collect, organize, and maintain accounting and tax data to ensure compliance.

• Assist with research and interpretation of tax laws and regulations, providing support and maintaining tax information.

• Support sales tax audits, prepare documentation, and resolve discrepancies.

• Reconcile tax accounts, identify inconsistencies, and ensure proper reporting.

• Use Vertex software for tax calculations and compliance filings.

• Maintain accurate records of all tax filings and audit documents.

• Provide data gathering support for compliance activities and tax filings.

• 1-3 years of experience in tax compliance or a related accounting field.

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business or Accounting preferred).

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to research and interpret tax laws, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions.

• Familiarity with tax software, e.g., Vertex (preferred).

• Ability to work seated at a computer for extended periods.

• Willingness to complete highly detailed, analytical tasks.

• Weekly pay and direct deposit.
