Staff Accountant – AR​/AP

DyStar is a leading specialty chemical company with a global presence. We have an immediate need for a Staff Accountant – AR/AP in our Americas Regional Headquarters located in Charlotte, NC. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Accounting Manager.

• Cash Application and Bank reconciliation
• Collect Money for Business Unit
• Process suppliers’ invoices and ensure company can pay suppliers timely

• Process daily cash and wire receipts for internal Business Unit
• Enter invoices in customer portals to be paid
• Process Accounts Receivable statements to Customers
• Check with related parties to clarify issues in invoices
• Ensure proper approved received for invoices received
• Enter invoices into system timely
• Process employee T&E reports
• Assist Accounting Manager with day to day, month, and year end operations of Accounting / Finance department
• Prepare Ad Hoc reports and perform other assigned duties

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, will consider equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 years of experience
• Knowledge of fundamental Accounting and Finance processes
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with other Microsoft office products

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

This is an on-site role in Charlotte, NC; not open to remote or hybrid work.
