Position: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST
Moore & Van Allen PLLC, a dynamic and fast-growing full-service law firm of more than 400 attorneys and professionals, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its Charlotte, NC office. This full-time position, on our Accounting team, provides support to attorneys and administrators regarding accounts receivables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Processes client payments to include checks, wires, ACH, credit card payments throughout the day.
  • Performs data entry with high degree of accuracy in a timely manner in the collection system of record.
  • Assists in monitoring and responding to internal and external information requests via shared mailbox.
  • Prepares and distributes daily collections reports.
  • Reviews and researches short payments, duplicate payments and over payments.
  • Demonstrates initiative and follow-through.
  • Provides information to clients, attorneys and administrators on an as needed basis regarding accounts receivables.
  • Regular attendance in the office is required to perform essential functions of this interactive position.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; four-year degree in Accounting or Business preferred; (will consider candidates with direct experience vs degree).
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills required.
Physical Requirements:
  • The work is primarily sedentary.
  • It requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • The work at times requires bending, squatting, and reaching, with the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights.
Work hours:
