Senior Tax Associate

A well-established, privately held wealth management firm is expanding its tax practice and seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join a collaborative, high-performing team. This is a growth-driven hire designed to strengthen the firm’s tax capacity and support a rapidly expanding client base of individuals and business owners.

This is a full-time,
hybrid position based in one of the firm’s Carolinas-region offices. The Senior Tax Associate will work closely with experienced tax professionals and wealth advisors, contributing to both day-to-day tax execution and higher-value client services.

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Work with a variety of return types (individual, partnership, S-Corp, C-Corp, fiduciary, estate, and trust)
• Assist with tax planning and more complex tax matters beyond standard 1040s
• Review and adjust client financial records
• Communicate directly with managers and clients
• Support additional accounting and tax projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate (active progress toward licensure preferred)
• 2–3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Exposure to complex tax scenarios involving business owners and partnerships
• Experience with Quick Books
  ; familiarity with CCH Axcess is a strong plus
