Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00‑3:30 or 8:00‑4:30.

Purpose or General Objective:
To sort, hang and tag donated merchandise.

Essential Duties:

• Sort through donated goods while determining quality, textile and bin to hang; and seasonal merchandise to store.
• Continually hang and tag textile and maintain a level of processing performance of at least 90 pieces per hour with no more than 5% bale.
• Correctly label carts and Gaylords as SEASONAL or BALE.
• Work productively without close supervision.
• Work cooperatively and professionally with all employees, participants, customers and consumers working with and for Goodwill Industries.
• Transfer Z-Racks, carts and Gaylords to the appropriate staging area within the plant.
• Weigh product as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by following safety procedures and reporting injuries and safety hazards.
• Maintain good housekeeping skills including sweeping and cleaning work area at the end of shift.

• Other duties as assigned by the Charlotte Plant Supervisor, Transportation Supervisor, Operations Manager, Retail Director or Vice President of Retail and Donated Goods.
