Financial Analyst - Charlotte Area

Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory levels to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction.
• Develop, monitor, and report on annual budgets and rolling forecasts for production, overhead, and capital expenditures.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, with explanations of variances.
• Conduct profitability analysis for product lines and customer segments, providing insights to optimize pricing and production strategies.
• Support strategic decision-making through ad-hoc financial modeling, ROI analysis for capital projects, and scenario planning.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate findings into actionable insights for operational improvements.

• Experience with cost accounting and inventory valuation in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) specific to manufacturing modules.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Understanding of supply chain finance and logistics cost analysis.
