Controller - Charlotte Area

Salary Range: $128,000 - $179,000 depending on experience

• Oversee all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain robust cost accounting systems, analyzing product costs and profitability.
• Establish and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support operational decision-making and efficiency improvements.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations.

• Expertise in cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation, specific to a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial management, reporting, and process optimization.
• Strong command of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal control best practices.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis (FP&A) to drive strategic decision-making.
• Ability to lead and mentor a finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.

• Advanced proficiency with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
• Experience in implementing or significantly upgrading financial modules within an ERP system.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced financial analytics.
• Experience with multi-site or international manufacturing operations.
