Under the direction of the Bureau for Social Services’ Director of Grants and Contracts, this position develops, monitors, and evaluates grants, contracts, and agreements for the delivery of services in a diverse range of human service settings. Provides specialized technical assistance and policy interpretation to grantees, contractors, and vendors. Assures grantee/contractor compliance with federal, state and local policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
Develops and implements grant/contract policy within regulatory/statutory guidelines. Other duties may be assigned.

QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: One (1) year of full time or equivalent part time paid or volunteer experience in child welfare casework, grants, accounting, finance, or program administration.
Internal Applicants Only: Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as an Accounting Specialist or Accounting Specialist, Senior may substitute for the required education and experience.
Substitution InformationAdditional education and experience may be substituted based on a year-for-year basis or as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart.
