Senior Relationship Banker – Truist Square
Join Truist as a Senior Relationship Banker to deliver top-tier client service, drive sales, and uphold trust.
Position OverviewResponsible for providing an industry leading client service experience through development & expansion of new and existing client relationships. Provides financial solutions tailored to client needs based on consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for additional business growth opportunities. Will be cross trained to perform required teller duties as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Exercise advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products, services, developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
- Support team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs to internal specialists.
- Participate fully in all components of Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
- Commit to advancing knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge by attending trainings and web-based learning.
- Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
- Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies.
- Lead sales initiatives within the branch and act as expert resource.
- Provide professional client service with a courteous, smiling conversation during transactions and uncovering needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- 4 years of client sales and service experience.
- Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, e.g., Microsoft Office.
- Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to multi‑task under time constraints.
- Ability to travel as required for temporary staffing needs.
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.
- Associate’s degree or higher.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience selling deposit, credit and retirement products to consumer and small business clients.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures.
