Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Geriatric Medicine Consultant In Collaboration with WVU Medicine at the Charleston Internal Medicine Office
Work Setting: Nursing facilities for the care of geriatric residents within the Charleston, WV area.
Position SummaryThe position involves direct patient care in short‑term rehabilitation and long‑term care nursing homes. The nurse practitioner will primarily conduct physicals, interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests, prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic treatments, diagnose health conditions and illnesses, maintain accurate records, and promote good health practices.
Responsibilities- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments.
- Interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests.
- Prescribe pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic treatments.
- Diagnose health conditions and illnesses.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Promote good health practices.
Job Type: Full‑time.
- Monday to Friday.
- Occasional weekend/on‑call support.

- Exclusively through WVU.
- Minimum 1 year experience (preferred).
- Certified Nurse Practitioner license – active & unencumbered for the state of WV.
