Job Details:

• Work five 8-hour shifts with weekday and weekend on-call duties

• 40 guaranteed hours per week

• Self-scheduled call requirements including some weeknights and weekends on rotating schedule

• Weekend coverage required

• Minimum 2 years RN experience required - no first-time travelers accepted

• Must have scrub and circulate experience

• Required certification: BLS (American Heart Association)

• Must have experience in pediatric general OR and general OR procedures

• Preferred skills include IV start abilities

• Travel experience preferred

• Must have worked within a pediatric setting and women's specialty

• Robotic experience highly preferred

• Work with pediatric patients ages newborn to 17 years in 30-bed operating room unit

• Must maintain clean license with no probationary actions

• Charting systems:
Cerner, Accudose, SBAR

• 16 hours of orientation required

• Complete 2-4 hours of non-billable modules prior to start date

This short-term acute care facility operates as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems, the facility provides comprehensive pediatric surgical services with advanced technology including robotic surgery capabilities. The operating room unit specializes in caring for pediatric patients and offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
