Night shifts, 3x12-hour format (19::00), weekdays, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics. This position is for a Level 1 Trauma center with a focus on neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, and renal emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and care for patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment.

• Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans according to the patients' needs.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.

• Provide support and education to patients and their families.

• Float to various units as needed to meet facility demands.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency department.

• Active WV or Compact RN License (pending license acceptable).



Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI (must be scheduled/obtained prior to start).

• Experience with IV start and telemetry required.
