Electrical Technician
LocationCharleston, WV
Compensation$80-100K (includes bonus and profit sharing)
Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process
- Demonstrate the ability to understand and apply electrical schematics
- Demonstrate knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics, centralized lubrication systems, alignments, power transmission, and pumps/piping (for mechanical techs)
- Demonstrate knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems, programmable logic controllers, instrumentation, AC/DC variable freq drives, and motors & controls systems (for electrical techs)
- Train teammates on new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment
- Build a strong safety culture through implementation of safety protocols with high levels of integrity and ownership in everything you do
- Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance/electrical experience.
- Fundamental Mechanical/Electrical Theory knowledge
- Experience Troubleshooting Systems
