Business Unit/Department: Mechanical Services

Location: Charleston, WV

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support customers in process control instrumentation and equipment startup, focusing on flow measurement equipment
• Verify, troubleshoot, and resolve instrumentation and equipment communications
• Inspect instrument wiring, power, and grounding of installations
• Set up instruments with Hart 475 field communicator
• Work with onsite installation crew
• Replace and install instrumentation and equipment
• Troubleshoot failed instruments and equipment
• Develop solutions to resolve instrumentation and equipment problems
• Calibrate measurement and flow transmitters
• Provide clear documentation of services to customers

Requirements:

• Technical Degree or equivalent field experience; 5+ years experience with Rosemount products preferred
• Familiarity with Rosemount, Micro Motion, Foxboro, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa, and other instrumentation
• Ability to use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, shovels, picks, wrenches, tube benders, and cutters
• Understanding of instrumentation and ability to read blueprints
• Electrical skills; 480V experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, Modbus, RS232/485, and Hart communications
• Experience managing customer projects and working independently
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
