Location: Charleston, WV
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support customers in process control instrumentation and equipment startup, focusing on flow measurement equipment
- Verify, troubleshoot, and resolve instrumentation and equipment communications
- Inspect instrument wiring, power, and grounding of installations
- Set up instruments with Hart 475 field communicator
- Work with onsite installation crew
- Replace and install instrumentation and equipment
- Troubleshoot failed instruments and equipment
- Develop solutions to resolve instrumentation and equipment problems
- Calibrate measurement and flow transmitters
- Provide clear documentation of services to customers
Requirements:
- Technical Degree or equivalent field experience; 5+ years experience with Rosemount products preferred
- Familiarity with Rosemount, Micro Motion, Foxboro, Endress+Hauser, Yokogawa, and other instrumentation
- Ability to use hand and power tools, including drills, saws, shovels, picks, wrenches, tube benders, and cutters
- Understanding of instrumentation and ability to read blueprints
- Electrical skills; 480V experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, Modbus, RS232/485, and Hart communications
- Experience managing customer projects and working independently
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
