Angiography Tech / Interventional Radiology

Charleston, WV
13-Week Contract
Day Shift | 4×10s (07:30 AM – 6:00 PM)

• 4×10 Days, Monday–Friday

• On-call rotation required (weekdays & weekends)

• ~8 call days/month, including 1 weekend/month

• Every 3rd weekend on call (5–6 total weekends per contract)

• 30-minute response time

• Orientation: Every other Monday

• 1 year Interventional Radiology experience

• First-time travelers welcome

• ARRT required

• WV State License required (may submit pending; must be active before start)

• BLS required

• Vascular Intervention certification preferred

• 100-mile radius rule (75–99 miles may be submitted for facility approval)

• Interventional Vascular Radiology Suite

• Procedures include:

  • Peripheral angiography & venography with intervention

  • EVAR / TEVAR

  • Carotid stenting

  • Neuro-intervention (acute stroke, embolization)

• Average daily census: 7–10 cases

• Floating required to CAMC General (sister facility, 2 miles away) for 1 week

• PACS operation

• Equipment maintenance & inventory management

• Fluoroscopy (Siemens preferred), Ultrasound

• EKG lead placement

• Access site prep

• Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias

• Circulator & scrub (maintain sterile field)

• Vascular closure systems: Perclose, Star Close

• Strict sterile technique & infection control
