Title: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Charleston, WV
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 AM – 05:00 PM) with On-Call
Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:
Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including structural heart cases
Assist physicians during Cath Lab procedures while maintaining sterile technique
Operate and monitor Cath Lab equipment and hemodynamic systems
Manage patient care before, during, and after procedures
Handle an average daily caseload of 8–10 cases per technologist
Participate in on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time
Weekend coverage required on a call-only basis
Float within scope of practice as needed, primarily within the Cath Lab
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
Competency in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab procedures, including structural interventions
Active West Virginia state license required prior to assignment start
ARRT registration required
RCIS alone is not accepted for this role
Experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in a high-volume acute care or teaching hospital environment
