Responsibilities- Responsible for providing an industry leading client service experience through the development and expansion of new and existing client relationships.
- Provide financial solutions that meet client needs based on consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners for additional business growth opportunities.
- Will be cross trained to perform required teller duties as needed.
- Exercising advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service as well as individual and branch sales targets by offering products and services and developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
- Support the team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs or financial goals to other internal specialists.
- Participate fully in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
- Advance knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge by attending meetings and training classes to better serve consumer and business clients.
- Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
- Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies; stay informed of policy changes to ensure compliance.
- Lead sales initiatives within the branch and act as an expert resource.
- Provide professional client service with courteous interactions while conducting transactions and uncovering client needs.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- 4 years of client sales and service experience
- Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients and client relationship building
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background check requirements
- Ability to multi-task under time constraints
- Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs and locale changes
- Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights
- Associates degree or higher
- Ability to handle multiple priorities under time constraints
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with a high level of service quality
- Experience discussing, recommending and selling deposit, credit and retirement products to consumer and small business clients
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- General understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures
