Tax Services Manager - FSO - State & Local Tax, EDGE
EY EDGE practice provides dedicated tax technical services to both US and global clients. EDGE stands for Exceptional Delivery and Growth Engine and operates in a technical environment with deep process and service delivery experience that distinguishes EY in the marketplace.
Location:
Anywhere in country.
- Deliver and manage tax compliance and consulting work for clients within EY FSO EDGE State & Local Tax.
- Identify problem areas and issues requiring escalation to ensure timely and accurate completion of client needs.
- Collaborate with professionals across practices in a team-oriented environment, sharing information and coordinating efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline or a graduate degree in Tax or Law
- CPA or licensed Attorney
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in professional services or professional tax organization
- Thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems and laws within your area of technical professionalism
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, with the confidence to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders
- Commitment to continuing your learning
- Understanding of state and local partnership tax
- Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Return Preparation Software
- Experience working in diverse teams
- Ability to adapt work style to collaborate with internal and client teams

What We Offer You- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including medical and dental coverage; pension and 401(k); various paid time off options. Base salary ranges vary by location: $103,600 to $189,700; NYC Metro/Washington State/California ranges $124,200 to $215,600. Salary is determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
