Project Engineer, Water Resources

We are looking for a Civil Project Engineer with experience and enthusiasm to join our Charleston, WV Water Resource team. As a member of the team, you will use your engineering knowledge to help design residential and commercial water resources projects. You will work on a variety of projects and collaborate with a team of like‑minded professionals. • Create technical drawing and plans for permitting and construction of water resource projects which include design, layout, grading, drainage and erosion and sediment controls.
• Provide technical support during construction activities, including reviewing plans.
• Prepare cost estimates for all water resource projects.
• Develop Engineering Solutions for water resource projects.
• Complete Environmental Permits.
• Collaborate with engineers to design optimal plans for clients.
• Work with construction inspection personnel, as required, to ensure that contracted work accomplishes the intent of the design.
• Operate independently within a deadline driven industry.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program is required.
• EI/EIT certification is desired but is not required.
• 0 – 4 of related water/wastewater experience.
• Software experience with Microsoft Office, Auto Cad, Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Periodic day travel is required.
