Overview
The Faculty Advisor for Mathematics is a key member of the Faculty Advisory Team within the Pearson North America Higher Education Customer Success Organization. The Advisor strategically partners with course-level administrators to align Pearson digital products with instructors’ learning objectives and student outcomes. The Advisor brings expert-level knowledge of Pearson digital implementation models and applies these skills across Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, and related disciplines.
Responsibilities- Partner with course administrators to advise on the integration of Pearson digital products and implementation that supports teaching and learning goals.
- Consult on digital assessment, grading, and reporting strategies; provide best practices knowledge for MyLab instruction.
- Consult with customers on modifying or creating content.
- Create department‑specific training resources such as videos, guides, and webinars.
- Consult with product teams to advise on products under development.
- Partner with Sales in campaigns, calls, meetings, demonstrations, and other sales enablement initiatives.
- Use success metrics and reporting structures to document recommendations and course design evolution.
- Travel to conduct face‑to‑face training workshops and attend conferences and meetings as required.
- Master’s degree in assigned discipline area.
- At least 5 years of full‑time teaching experience at the collegiate level.
- Power‑user experience with Pearson MyLab.
- Experience in multiple fields within Mathematics and Statistics;
Data Science and Engineering preference. - Online teaching experience preferred.
- LMS experience preferred.
- Experience with Copilot and other generative AI tools a plus.
- Ability to engage with international customers in different time zones a plus.
- Experience presenting at conferences, department meetings, and events.
- High achievement:
Collegiate Teaching Award(s).
Salary range: $68,000 – $70,000. The position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. Benefits information is available upon request.
