Responsibilities include performing diverse procedures such as XR, CT, MR, US, NM, and specialized light IR interventions, with a focus on infant BE exams. The role demands efficiency, precision, and the ability to manage a varied case mix, including biopsies, drainages, lumbar punctures, and arthrograms. Daily volume expectations are approximately 90-100 cases per 8-hour shift, with a work environment that values expertise and professionalism.
The successful candidate will possess strong diagnostic skills, proficiency in performing infant BE exams, and the ability to handle a broad spectrum of radiological procedures in a hospital setting. Flexibility, excellent communication, and a commitment to quality patient care are essential qualities.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience in hospital-based radiology, familiarity with the specified procedures, and relevant certifications.
Experience with fluoroscopy and IR procedures is highly desirable. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in West Virginia and hold current medical certifications.
Additional requirements include the ability to work onsite reliably and coordinate effectively with hospital staff. Travel expenses and licensure reimbursements are covered when applicable. A background check and active medical license are mandatory.
