Overview
Become a key player in delivering exceptional diagnostic radiology services remotely. You will interpret a variety of imaging studies—including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine—primarily focusing on emergent cases, with a volume of 90-100 studies per shift. Your expertise will directly impact patient care, supporting healthcare teams across different modalities from the comfort of your chosen location.
Required Skills
- Board Certification in Radiology (A preferred)
- Proficiency in reading PET studies and diverse imaging modalities (XR, CT, MR, US, NM)
- Excellent diagnostic skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to interpret a high volume of cases accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills for clear and timely reporting
- Prior experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in a remote setting
- Sub-specialty training or experience in neuro, musculoskeletal, or other advanced imaging
- Familiarity with teleradiology systems and PACS software
- Experience working in emergency radiology environments
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in West Virginia or eligible for licensing state-wide
- Minimum of 3 years of diagnostic radiology experience, with preference given to those with prior teleradiology exposure
- Must possess current medical licensure, valid certifications, and malpractice insurance that includes coverage for remote work
- Availability for shift coverage during assigned hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm days)
- Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote setting
- Must be proficient in reading PET studies and comfortable with high-volume case interpretations
- Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50/hour for shifts up to 8 hours with potential for additional compensation based on wRVUs
