Local Truck Driver
Home nightly. Occasional overnight or home next day possible.
Drivers must live within 40 miles of Harleyville; consideration may be given to drivers within 50 miles if they understand they will be driving personal vehicle to/from dispatch & equipment.
Start times are early AM:
Midnight-0300, depending on dispatch. Could be a later early AM start, such as .
Must have a minimum of 6 months verified Class A CDL experience with a combination Tractor Trailer (no training time counted).
*** Cannot currently hold an “Occupational” or “Restricted” license or work permit.
*** Application & CDL must match prior to onboarding.
* No current Probation or Parole. Must have a good background and MVR.
* No SAP drivers.
* Must have a stable job history.
Most drivers run 2 dispatches daily, with 10-12 hour days. Drivers are required to drive personal vehicle to/from customer location in Harleyville for dispatch & equipment.
At customer: drivers may be expected to climb a platform/flip a lid on the trailer for product load.
At delivery: drivers are expected to use the trailer hose/electric blower & monitor product as it unloads. Drivers are trained in handling & unloading dry products, primarily Bulk Powder Cement, along with other commodities as determined.
Average weekly pay is $850-$1100 (Gross). Pay is based on cpm/loaded miles.
Local: $0.92-$1.05 per mile, determined by verified tractor/trailer experience. Utilization Incentive: $0.06 per mile per loaded mile when driver exceeds 750 loaded miles/week.
Load/Unload Pay: $20/load event, $20/unload event.
No endorsements required: TWIC preferred. Benefits include paid orientation/full training, medical/dental/vision, paid vacation after 1 year, paid holidays, 401k with match. Benefits start in 60 days.
Orientation comprises 3 phases:
- Virtual/Online: $200 upon successful completion/hire, paid on the first paycheck (Friday of the week following hire).
- Onsite Training: $120/day in Fenton, MO, for 5 days (following online completion); travel Sunday; class & training Monday-Friday; travel home Friday afternoon/evening.
- Road Training: $120/day with Harleyville Fleet for 5-7 days. Drivers are required to complete 8-10 successful pump-offs.
