Group Fitness Instructor

STAT Wellness offers a range of services including in-house and virtual personal training, wellness and lifestyle coaching, and corporate health solutions.

This is a part-time, on-site role based in Charleston, SC, for a Group Fitness Instructor. The Group Fitness Instructor will be responsible for leading safe, energetic, and engaging group fitness classes tailored to participants of various skill and fitness levels. Responsibilities include creating dynamic, effective workout plans, demonstrating proper exercise techniques, ensuring participant safety, and fostering a motivating and inclusive environment.

The instructor will also collaborate with the STAT Wellness team to help clients achieve their overall wellness goals and contribute to enhancing the sense of community within the fitness studio.

• Expertise in fitness instruction, group exercise leadership, and developing comprehensive workout programs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage diverse participants
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and proper exercise techniques to ensure participant safety
• Experience in wellness, lifestyle coaching, or health education is a plus
• Current certification in group fitness instruction and CPR/AED
• Ability to work collaboratively with the team while maintaining a client-focused approach
• Dedication to creating an inclusive, supportive, and encouraging environment for all participants
