Director of Clinical Informatics & AI Integration will lead the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence and automation tools to expand our patient base and optimize the "front door" of our practice. You will be responsible for transitioning our patient acquisition and retention funnel from manual processes to a high-efficiency, AI-driven ecosystem. Your goal is to increase patient volume while reducing administrative burnout and improving the speed of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy and manage AI triage tools to help prospective patients identify the right level of care or specialist before they ever speak to a staff member.
  • Analyze triage data to identify service line gaps and opportunities for clinical expansion.
2. Automated Prior Authorization (PA) Optimization
  • Implement AI software solutions to automate the submission, tracking, and follow‑up of prior authorizations.
  • Collaborate with the billing and clinical teams to reduce "denial by delay" and accelerate the time‑to‑treatment.
  • Oversee the deployment of an advanced NLP (Natural Language Processing) chatbot to handle FAQs, insurance verification, and lead capture 24/7.
  • Continuously refine chatbot logic to ensure high conversion rates and seamless hand‑offs to human agents when necessary.
4. Automated Scheduling & Retention
  • Integrate AI scheduling tools with the EHR/PMS to allow for real‑time, self‑service booking.
  • Utilize predictive analytics to automate "re‑activation" campaigns for patients due for follow‑ups or preventative screenings.
  • Track and report on KPIs including Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) ,
    Conversion Rate ,
    Lead‑to‑Appointment Speed , and PA Approval Lead Time .
  • Manage the "Growth Stack" (CRM, AI vendors, and Marketing automation).
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years in Healthcare Management, Health‑Tech, or Digital Marketing, with leadership experience.
  • Tech Savvy: Proven experience implementing AI/ML tools or managing digital transformation projects within a clinical setting.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of HIPAA, TCPA, and data privacy standards regarding AI and patient communication.
  • Systems Familiarity: Experience with major EHRs/EMRs (Epic, Athena, Allscripts) and CRM platforms (Salesforce, Hub Spot).
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with specific AI healthcare vendors (e.g., Notable, Olive, or similar).
  • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clinical workflows.
  • A "Growth Mindset", the ability to see operational bottlenecks as opportunities for automation.
