Strong preference given to applicants holding a current state license or Asheville city card.

• Repair, replace, and install electrical equipment and systems in commercial and industrial environments
• Communicate with foreman about daily and weekly tasks
• Understand and apply local, state, and federal electrical codes
• Use appropriate tools and testing equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain positive work conditions.
• Actively be involved with jobsite processes, with the goal being to successfully and safely complete the job.
• Interact with others on the job site in a professional manner as a JEC representative.
• Follow all directions from your foreman and superintendent
• Maintain a clean and safe work site and an organized material area.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, carrying, bending, crawling, climbing and balancing
• Experienced in commercial and industrial electrical work
• Ability to read blueprints
• Proficient in conduit installation (EMT, Rigid, PVC, Robroy)
• Two or three years of experience
• Proficient in wire pulling and termination
• Effective communication skills
• Strong work ethics with an emphasis on safety
• Strong time management skills
• Possess personal integrity and quality workmanship
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to follow through on assigned tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
• Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
