Carolina International Trucks Inc. is looking for experienced Leasing Technician at our Charleston location. We have a presence covering the entire state to give our customers unmatched customer service. We look forward to providing the same great service to you as a valued member of CIT Team.

• 3 years of proven diesel engine maintenance experience.
• Valid Class B CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Possess own tools to perform work on all systems on diesel equipment.
• Must be able to use a variety of hand held tools and equipment associated with repair work.
• Knowledge on A/C system, brake system, emission systems, air systems and diagnostics / trouble shooting of diesel engines.
• Computer skills with ability to use diagnostic programs such as EZ-Tech, Cummings Quick Serve, Diamond Logic, etc.
• Willingness to maintain required on-line training throughout employment.

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by customer.
• Road tests vehicles when required.
• Participates in manufacturer sponsored training programs, schools and events.
• Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
• Maintains and is accountable for all dealership- owned tools and manuals.
• ASE certification preferred.
