Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

TICO is hiring Mechanics, All Skill Levels /All Shifts at our site in Charleston, S.C. This position is typically an 8‑hour shift with occasional overtime. Great pay, benefits, sign‑on bonus and lots of room for growth! 95% of our fleet are trucks we build at our plant in Ridgeland S.C. They all have the same power package and driveline.

• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform inspection, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, A/C, steering, cooling, DEF, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Perform repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
• Utilize computer software diagnostic systems to interpret failure modes and initiate or assign repairs.
• Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software to document parts usage and repair times.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs.
• Perform maintenance‑related work as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Heavy truck repair – 2+ years of experience.
• Heavy, medium duty or farm equipment repair.
• Forklift or construction equipment repair.
• Automotive maintenance and repair.
• Completion of a diesel or automotive tech program.
• Good attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic.
• Must maintain own tool set (company provided tool program available).
