$22.00/hr - $28.00/hr

• Pipe belled properly and bedded soundly (no leaks, sags, deflections)
• Ability to shoot grades properly.
• Knowledge of pipe laying with pipe laser.
• Ability to perform utility testing (pressure testing, chlorination/sampling, mandrel, etc.)
• Equipment Operation/Maintenance
• Responsible for care/maintenance of compaction equipment.
• Perform daily inspection of tools, cables, etc. (Completes daily inspection forms)
• Responsible for care/maintenance/storage of tools and reports defects to Foreman each day
• Ability to operate support equipment well (including rubber tire backhoe, mini-excavator, skid steer, roller, loader, compaction equipment, etc.)
• Care and cleanliness of all inventory/small tools

• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
• Minimum of 1 year of construction experience or combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of principals, methods and standards of the designated trade’s area.
• Experience in the use and methods of tools and equipment commonly employed with the trade.
• Physical Requirements
• Must be physically able to exert up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Work involves sitting, walking or standing for extended periods of time in adverse weather conditions
• Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of five to fifty pounds. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment, safety glasses, hard hat with chin strap, reflective safety vest, gloves, ear protection, face shield, safety toe boots
