Overview
The Synthetic Turf Installer is responsible for the installation of artificial turf systems in residential and commercial environments. This role requires hands-on construction experience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow installation standards to deliver high-quality, durable turf installations that meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform synthetic turf installations including site preparation, base construction, grading, compaction, drainage setup, turf layout, cutting, seaming, infill application, and final grooming
- Follow company installation standards, safety protocols, and job specifications
- Read and interpret job plans, measurements, and work orders
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members on-site
- Assist with material loading, unloading, and inventory tracking
- Participate in final walkthroughs and address punch list items as needed
- Follow all safety, PPE, and jobsite requirements
- Prior experience in synthetic turf installation, landscaping, construction, or related trades preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, kneeling, bending, and working outdoors
- Familiarity with base prep, grading, and compaction methods a plus
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Problem-solving skills on active jobsites
- Time management and task prioritization
- Commitment to safety and workmanship standards
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
