Summary
We’re hiring an experienced Installation Team Leader to manage and execute high-quality landscape installation projects across the Charleston region. This is a hands‑on leadership role best suited for someone with expertise in irrigation, hardscapes, lighting, and plant installation — and who thrives working outdoors with a motivated crew.
Responsibilities- Lead and supervise installation crews on commercial landscape projects
- Interpret plans and site layouts to ensure accurate installation of all landscape elements
- Install and troubleshoot irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, and heads
- Construct hardscapes, such as retaining walls, paver patios, and walkways
- Handle and install plant materials per plan specifications and horticultural standards
- Install low‑voltage landscape lighting systems
- Operate light equipment (skid steers, trenchers, compactors, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Maintain high job site standards for safety, cleanliness, and crew conduct
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project managers
- Train and mentor crew members on best practices and safety procedures
- Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape installation, including:
- Irrigation installation and troubleshooting
- Hardscape construction
- Plant and mulch installation
- Lighting setup and wiring
- Proficient in operating small landscape equipment and power tools
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage workflow
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors, and perform manual labor
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Experience using Aspire & other technology
- Able to lift 50 lbs. (Equipment, tools, and supplies may need to be lifted, carried, pulled and/or pushed) 5 hours/day
- Must be able to work in summer and winter climates 10 hours/day
- 10 hour shift
