District Manager – Women of the Vine & Spirits

- Develop, train, and direct sales reps to achieve sales goals, placement objectives, and company standards.
- Conduct strategic sales negotiations with key accounts.
- Survey market area for business trends and opportunities for new products or new applications.
- Assist in developing sales forecasts; plan sales activities by forecasting conditions, defining objectives and strategies, and securing resources.
- Control and manage sales performance by measuring and reporting results, evaluating, correcting performance, and administering policies and procedures.
- Organize teams by structuring territories, delegating work, and staffing positions.
- Provide leadership in decision‑making, personnel development, communication, and motivation.
- Conduct weekly sales meetings to disseminate supplier information, product and sales training, and gather feedback on effectiveness, efficiency, and relevance of activities.
- Job duties include working nights and weekends on promotional activities and other account activities.
- Four‑year college degree, preferred.
- 1–2 years of management experience in the adult beverage industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and order processing systems or aptitude to learn.
- Current valid state driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements and ABC License as required by state.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Bachelor’s degree (bonus).
- Previous experience in the wine and spirits industry (bonus).
- WSET certifications (bonus).
