Hershey's Part-Time Territory Sales Associate (Columbia, SC)
Location: Dentsville, SC
Schedule: Continuous Part-Time, 20–25 hours per week, average 6–10+ store visits per day. Core hours 6:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday–Friday. Flexible schedule based on personal and territory needs.
Compensation: $15.50‑$16.50 per hour (variable by skill, experience, and location). Mileage reimbursement 62¢ per mile. No car allowance.
Position Type: Remote territory sales with daily travel required (55 miles average). Must have reliable personal vehicle.
Travel: Must be willing to commute to one or more of the following zip codes: 29006, 29016, 29036, 29054, 29063, 29070, 29072, 29073, 29075, 29105, 29123, 29129, 29130, 29169, 29170, 29180, 29205, 29210, 29212.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Sell and maintain 100% distribution of all authorized Hershey items in the assigned territory.
- Execute retail plans using permanent secondary displays and other display vehicles.
- Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, and promotions.
- Submit daily activity reports via tablet.
- Manage sales territory (size varies by retailer and location).
- Valid U.S. state driver’s license.
- Personal vehicle in sound operating condition; must have personal auto insurance of at least $100,000 per person, $100,000 per accident, $100,000 property damage, business use permitted.
- Willingness to commute within listed zip codes.
- Ability to drive long distances daily for multiple sales calls.
- Physical ability to lift 10–40 lbs, bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity with reasonable accommodations.
- Proficiency with tablet technology and daily wireless internet access.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.
- Availability for 20–25 hours per week.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferred: 3–4 years of experience in food merchandising (not required).
