Territory Manager – CARS Protection Plus

Reports to: Zone Sales Manager
CARS Protection Plus (CARS), based near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a leading provider of vehicle service contracts to the independent car dealership sector. CARS delivers extraordinary value to dealer partners through innovative service contracts that enhance the end‑customer ownership experience. The company currently sells contracts in 40 U.S. states and is renowned for its signature powertrain contracts and a comprehensive menu of additional offerings.
PositionResponsibilities & Key Tasks
- Meet with 10+ dealers per day (≈50% existing, 50% prospective) to build and maintain relationships.
- Coach and mentor dealers to increase contract production.
- Present the CARS product line and its value proposition to prospective customers.
- Prepare and submit daily communication logs with accurate, actionable meeting observations.
- Liaise between dealers and CARS for exceptions and claim issues as they arise.
- Continuously update dealers on product changes and modifications.
- Coordinate with in‑office CARS staff to achieve both sales goals and customer experience objectives.
- A track record of sales success.
- A self‑starter with a strong work ethic.
- An unyielding willingness to do what it takes to be financially successful.
- Honesty and integrity above reproach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust.
- Knowledge of auto dealerships is helpful, but not necessary.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
