Position Overview
As an Operations Support Associate at Polo Ralph Lauren, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operations in our retail stores. The role is a non‑selling position but shifts with business demand. Entry point for future Leadership roles within Ralph Lauren. The position may be offered as full‑time or part‑time, depending on candidate availability and business needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Process freight within specified units per hour goals, including markups/markdowns and EAS tagging.
- Inspect deliveries for damages, verify packaging, and ensure proper sensor/tag placement.
- Execute daily RFID inventory scans for accurate floor replenishment.
- Manage "Ship to Home" orders and store‑to‑store transfers.
- Complete ISOS replenishment activities and stock room resets.
- Process retickets, create tags, and associate RFID tags.
- Maintain organized stockroom and sales floor inventory levels using company guidelines.
- Create memorable customer experiences through exceptional service.
- Support Brand Ambassadors with stock checks and merchandise delivery.
- Greet and assist customers with their shopping needs when on sales floor.
- Process sales transactions and follow company policies for returns, discounts, and customer data capture.
- Maintain clean, welcoming sales floor and fitting rooms.
- Balance operational tasks while prioritizing customer experience.
- Participate in visual merchandising of sales floor.
- Maintain store presentation standards following company guidelines.
- Provide feedback to Management on product and category opportunities.
- Foster a positive work environment aligned with RL values.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Participate in training and company initiatives.
- Support store operations in both front and back of house functions.
- Back of house experience or similar industry experience in a complex, high‑volume or high‑profile specialty environment preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
- Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cash‑wrap and office; work around/with chemicals, lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required).
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co‑workers.
