About the Role

As a Front Desk Associate you will deliver exceptional customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and guests while maintaining an outstanding “Judgment Free Zone®” experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests upon arrival, assisting with check‑in questions and concerns.
  • Promote the Judgment Free Zone® by connecting with members on the club floor and supporting their fitness journeys.
  • Resolve member concerns and refer them to management when necessary.
  • Answer phones courteously and provide assistance to callers.
  • Perform membership functions: sign‑ups, updates of contact/billing information, cancellations, collection of unpaid balances, and membership transfers.
  • Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assessing membership needs.
  • Execute retail transactions accurately and meet sales goals.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized environment, including exercise equipment, Black Card spa amenities, and restrooms.
  • Perform a comprehensive walk‑through of all club areas, promptly addressing safety or cleanliness concerns.
  • Report maintenance issues such as broken or missing equipment to appropriate staff.
Qualifications
  • 6‑12 months of customer service experience preferred.
  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Willingness to become CPR/AED certified (training provided).
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Demands
  • Continuous standing and moving throughout the club during shifts.
  • Verbal communication with members and callers throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals during duties.
  • Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Ability to bend, twist, and move in various positions as required.
