The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets all customers politely, treats fellow associates with respect, follows all company best‑practice standards, maintains a clean work area, and ensures proper merchandise presentation. The Retail Associate is expected to be engaged in all assigned tasks during working hours and may be requested to perform additional tasks as needed to meet customer service and operational goals.

• Maintain high awareness on the sales floor to create a safe and secure shopping environment, keeping egress clear and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Treat all customers and associates with respect and courtesy; be friendly and professional at all times.
• Assists customers – register‑trained, help with merchandise, answer questions politely and knowledgeably.
• Provide prompt and efficient responses to customers, handling all issues in a courteous manner and calling leadership when needed.
• Represent and support the Company brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters and mirrors, replenishing restroom supplies, and disinfecting high‑touch areas.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the Company’s dress code.
• Perform daily assigned sizing and recovery per best practice to ensure a neat, clean, and organized store.
• Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor with a sense of urgency and merchandise per monthly presentation guidelines.
• Understand the Loss Prevention Awareness program, Shortage Highway, Store Protection Specialist (SPS), and merchandise protection standards.
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions; safeguard confidential information, cash, and merchandise.
• Follow all Mark‑Out‑of‑Stock (MOS) policies and properly process disposals.
• Follow all cash, check, charge card, and refund transaction policies and maintain accuracy with bankable tenders.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency and minimize steps in workflow to maximize productivity.

• Effectively communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations used in retail environments.

• Use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PC.
