Job SummaryWe are looking for high energy team‑members to complete our high energy work family as our steward. The position requires following proper sanitation standards in cleaning, some lifting, organizational skills, and preferably some experience in food preparation.

PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities
- Proper dish washing - wash, rinse, sanitize using dishwashing machine or by hand as required.
- Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
- Set up workstations and occasional light prep work.
- Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents, trash bags, gloves) and bring shortages to attention of the kitchen management.
- Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues, including water temperatures
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
- Cleaning of kitchen equipment including but not limited to stoves, dish machine, sinks, ovens, grills, char broiler, fry-o’later, refrigerators
- Disposal of kitchen refuse and boxes, and maintain cleanliness of trash storage areas
Note that this is not an inclusive list and team members are at times asked to assist with other tasks to best serve the business. Other tasks may be assigned by the Chef de Cuisine or other managers.
Job RequirementsEducation & Experience
- 1 Year related experience in a similar position with a top tier luxury hotel or restaurant, or the ability to learn quickly.
- Experience in food preparation preferred but not required.
Skills & Abilities
- Commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence through attention to detail and sanitation rules.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks. Ability to work under pressure, be calm, organized, self‑motivated, and work well with others.
- Ability to read, speak and understand English in order to follow directions, and procedures, and communicate with the team (using a translator app if necessary).
- Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal supervision.

Physical & Mental Requirements
- Maintain regular and punctual on‑site attendance with the ability to work a flexible schedule which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays when business requires.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time. Frequently required to use hands and arms to reach and handle. Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to handle equipment and utensils. Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
